Saint Andrew is one of the most exciting religious feast in Amalfi and dwellings celebrate the miracle of their patron with a huge festival. The statue is carried on procession along the narrow streets of city centre and run up 62 steps of Duomo. The celebrations go on during the night with band concerts in the square and a spectacular fireworks show over the bay.
