We had a very nice stay in the hotel. Very friendly staff. Very nice view - the terrasse is great, the breakfast more than o.k. It was very kind from the reception to give us an upgrade for the room without extra charge.

Firsth, i can say, stuff was very helpful.Location is perfect very near to the sea( which you can swim) and to the town,nice garden faceing to marvellous view as well.Only car parking is terrible,no parking place belongs to hotel and very expensive around, for parking

Sono stata all'Hotel Aurora a pasquetta. L'albergo è pulitissimo,il servizio ottimo,e le stanze accoglienti in perfetto stile amalfitano. Il prezzo è più che conveniente. Il personale di una gntilezza unica. La colazione in terrazzo poi....Ke dire di più. Se vi trovate da quelle parti,non troverete posto più accogliente e romantico.

Tha Aurora hotel in Amalfi was really a good choise for my wife and myself.
Perfect seaside position with wonderful views.
The hotel is a fairly small confortable hotel with god standard and cosy atmosphere.
We had a nice room with seaview and we slept well even if the beds were a bit hard.
Very friendly and supportive staff. Lovely breakfast that was served on the terass with stunning views.
I will definately recommend this hotel.

This hotel doesn't need any more reviews but we had the best stay also. It's true about the friendly, helpful staff and the wonderful views of the ocean - especially the sunrise. The location is great - just in the quieter part of town to ensure a good nights sleep but within easy walking distance to all the restaurants. It was clean with traditional, italian tiles. Amalfi has a definite market for walking maps of the area however. Thoroughly recommend the village and the hotel. Thank you for indulging us in our very average attempts at italian.Would love it though if all hotels in the world didn't charge like wounded bulls for their bar fridnge drinks, especially when there is a wonderful balcony to sit and enjoy the views on.

I stayed in Aurora Hotel this summer and what a beautiful hotel. We had an ocean view room - the best I have ever had. Location is great, close to everything. Room was clean, beautiful and balcony was an amazing view - you can hear the water hiting the rocks in the morning - I just didn't want to get up from the balcony lawn chair. Oh yes the breakfast was also in an amazing terrass very nicely done. I would certainly stay here again.

hotel situato in ottima posizione, comoda e tranquilla. Buona pulizia e servizio gentile e utile. Splendida e romanticissima colazione immersa in una dolce atmosfera. No aria condizionata, ma fortunatamente non è servita. Unico neo, fra i locali consigliati dall'albergo, non andate al Silver Moon: si mangia male, si paga tanto e sono scortesi e attaccati ai soldi in maniera ....eccessiva.
Ottimo soggiorno, da consigliare.

Splendita vacanza.....abbiamo usufruito del residence.....bellissima struttura,nuova,pulita....posto in un punto strategico di Amalfi in centro a due passi dalla spiaggia....quindi nessun ausilio di auto.....in altri soggiorni effettuati in passato ad Amalfi non siamo mai stati contenti del nostro soggiorno ma quest'anno è stato diverso perchè abbiamo conosciuto l'hotel Aurora e per l'anno prossimo abbiamo già deciso di tornare ....stesso posto ma soprattutto stesso hotel........

stanza 26 - da evitare, finestra su richiastro con rumoroso blocco motori condizionatori a un metro, la stanza non ha l'aria condizionata al contrario di quanto dichiarato su internet. per il resto posizione ottima, comoda e vicina a "tutto", personale gentile e professionale, servizio ineccepibile più che adeguato al prezzo pagato. buona pulizia. graziosissima spiaggetta privata. Risposta dell'albergo: siamo riusciti a superare alcuni problemi tecnici così da garantire l'AC per il prossimo anno, 2010, anche nelle standard. In internet è specificato che le standard senza vista mare non hanno l'aria condizionata.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Aurora! Our room was nice and clean with a magnificent view over the sea, the mountains and Amalfi, and we also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Vacances en famille à 5 adultes dans un appartement dépendant de l'hôtel. Très bonne situation centrale, un peu bruyante la nuit. Appartement bien équipé et propre. Regrette l'absence de toilettes séparées, compte tenu du nombre d'occupants. Le canapé-lit du salon n'est pas confortable.

A due passi di piacevile lungomare dal centro di Amalfi e dagli imbarchi per Capri e Positano abbiamo trovato questa perla di hotel. Una vista mozzafiato sul mare, con la luna che si specchia nel mare di notte. Un tetto di bouganville che incorniciano il giardino della prima colazione. Uno staff sempre gentile e pronto a darti una mano e dei consigli di giorno e di notte. E infine, ma non certo per importanza, un ambiente pulito ed ordinato con tutto lo charme che ci si può aspettare dalla Costiera Amalfitana. Un luogo certamente dove torneremo.

Thank you for an excellent visit. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and went beyond my expectations by arranging for a forgotten bikini to be sent to me on Capri Island by ferry! Very cosy atmosphere and good location. Excellent restaurant-recommendation! But a little bit cold in the room during the night. Hotel manager answered: I'm very sorry about the cold you suffered inyour room.What a shame you didn't tell anything at the reception. We would have given you an extra blanket. In Italy it is not allowed to switch the central heating on from April 1st but we would have put the individual air conditioner in your room on "heat".

We stayed at the Hotel Aurora in april 2009 and had a wonderful time the staff were excellent and very helpfull. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Prior to arriving I had contacted the hotel by e-mail for information and they were very quick to respond. One of the staff members Andrea Colonnese went beyond the call of duty to be helpfull.

Mar 22, 2009 As four college students on Spring Break with little to no expectations, we arrived in Amalfi at the Hotel Aurora, greeted warmly and hospitably by the manager, Andrea. He allowed us to park (FOR FREE!) at the hotel, even though we were staying at the apartments in the centro. Andrea was extremely kind and gifted us with a free upgrade to a suite with 2 bedrooms.
The apartment was very clean and included a fully functioning kitchen (with dishwasher), bathroom, washer and dryer. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable! The bathroom, although small, provided us with a surplus of big, clean towels- a luxury for those accustomed to youth hostels. Only 2 minutes walking distance from the beach and from the Duomo and Main Piazza.
The management was flexible, helpful, and hospitable! They texted us while we were on our way and told us another driving route, so we wouldn't run into a detour. VERY HELPFUL! Andrea also gave us many restaurant recommendations where we were given discounts! Score!
Overall, this was a great experience! And I recommend Hotel Aurora Apartments to families as well!

Apr 21, 2009 We stayed at the Aurora between 17-21 April 2009. It's a great little budget hotel just a stones throw away from the main square in Amafi and is a perfect base for exploring the beautiful towns on the Amalfi Coast. The hotel was clean, airy and nothing was too much trouble for the extremely friendly staff. Our room at the front of the hotel (no. 21) had a sea view which was a little obscured by the trees outside but on the whole it was bright and pleasant. My only complaint was the bed! I got very little sleep on the first night as the mattress was much too hard and the pillows felt like rock. We informed the management who said that most of beds had been replaced and that all of the new mattresses were very firm. They did offer us a room move (to one with an older, slightly softer mattress) but to be honest there was little difference between the two so we stuck with our original room and had the mattress covered with blankets to soften it slightly. This helped as I managed to get to sleep the second night but even so a lie-in the following morning was out of the question! At the end of the stay the manager was kind enough to deduct some money from the bill for the inconvenience.

The Aurora Hotel was a very pleasant place to stay.
They helped with making every aspect of the trip enjoyable even down to recommending very fine restuarants to eat.
