A stone’s throw from the beach or Cathedral Square
The choice is yours: sea or historic centre?
On the one hand our rooms with a stunning view of the sea of Amalfi, on the other our apartments among the ancient streets of the UNESCO World Heritage historic centre. Whether you prefer the comfort of the hotel with breakfast or the independence of the residence with laundry service included, one thing is certain:
here you’ll experience the real Amalfi in a treasure trove of stories, myths, and legends.
Follow our directions.
From the nearest airport to Amalfi, Napoli-Capodichino (70km away), you have two options:
- Private transfer: we take care of everything, write to us at info@no-spam.aurora-hotel.no-spam.it.
- Bus ANM 3S or Alibus Shuttle from Terminal 1 to Naples Central Station, then continue by train to Salerno and then by bus to Amalfi.
From Rome Fiumicino Airport (309km), we recommend taking a direct train to Termini station and then a Eurostar train to Salerno: www.trenitalia.com.
Salerno station is only 25km from Amalfi and is served by the main Eurostar trains from both north and south. A connection to Amalfi by sea is planned from June to September. We recommend checking the timetable at www.alicost.it.
The harbour from where boats depart for the Amalfi Coast is 400m from the station exit.
Alternatively:
- We can arrange a private transfer: write to info@no-spam.aurora-hotel.no-spam.it for more information.
- You can take the SITA bus from the train station to Amalfi and get off at the Piazza Vittorio Veneto stop.
- There are also maritime connections operated by Travelmar from the pier in Piazza della Concordia.
A3-Napoli-Salerno motorway, exit Vietri sul Mare, follow the SS 163 Amalfitana road.
During the high season, we advise you to exit at Castellammare di Stabia, continue on the SS 366 towards Agerola and then to Amalfi.
